Saturday, July 03 2010 - Blog

Shu-Ha-RiA few day’s ago, conference chair Jim Newkirk tweeted his top 10 reasons why you should attend this year’s Agile Conference being held at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.  I thought they were compelling enough to warrant an entire blog post!  So, here goes, in reverse order:

  • 10 - Something for everyone in your organization. Focused themes on Business, Leadership & Organization, and Technical.
  • 09 - The return of the Extreme Fishbowl. Eat, watch, and learn how much can get done in 40 minutes of agile development.
  • 08 - Meet your favourite authors! They will be all around the conference for you to sit down and chat about agile.
  • 07 - Conference Party @ Epcot's World ShowPlace Pavilion! Dinner, Entertainment and Fireworks, a magical night to remember!
  • 06 - Icebreaker on the Cabana Deck Monday evening! Friends, food, and fun a plenty!
  • 05 - Experience Shu-Ha-Ri as you advance your understanding and skill, whether you're new or highly experienced.
  • 04 - Agile, XP, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, UX, Testing, Craftsmanship, BDD, Clojure and lots more. All in one place.
  • 03 - Bring your family along, you are steps away from Disney's Theme Parks, and Shopping. Discount tickets are available.
  • 02 - Hear a retrospective look at the Agile decade and learn some of the challenges and opportunities ahead from Dave Thomas.
  • 01 - Make it your own. Choose from the hundreds of sessions or create your own at Open Jam. The community is all together!

Early Bird registration is still available, but selling out fast.  Join us in Florida for a fantastic conference filled with great sessions and excellent networking opportunities.
