Paul Hammond's Blog

Welcome to Paul Hammond's website @ phammond.com

Hello there. You've found the website for Paul Hammond. There are quite a few PHs in the world, many of whom, like me, work in the technology industry and have websites. In an attempt to clear up any confusion, I'm the PH who works for Microsoft, lives near London, and relaxes by being a geek, watching the Red Sox, taking photos, playing musical instruments of various types and hanging out with my 10-year old twins. So, welcome, hope you enjoy, and please don't hesitate to drop me a line.

I have wanted to try a pair of Vibram’s FiveFingers shoes for a while now, but have found it very difficult to get hold of them due to their popularity – nowhere had any stock. These shoes are designed to allow you to achieve a “barefoot” feel when you are taking part in activities...

The End Of 2009, Bring On 2010

Wednesday, December 30 2009 - Blog

Time for another reflection on a year passed. I wrote my first yearly review ( Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009 ) last year, so I thought I’d continue the tradition. So, What Happened In 2009? Travel featured again, although not as much as in 2008. This year I made only 8 trips, spending 66 days on the...
