🎓 I have essentially stalled learning Spanish with Duolingo. I still have a streak - now at 1750 days(!) - but I’ve been taking the Chess lessons for a while now, instead of the Spanish lessons. I will return to Spanish at some point, but I think I need an alternative approach - Duolingo hasn’t been enough to move me as far forward as I would have liked. I am also not sure I am much better at Chess, but that’s another story.
📚 I just finished reading The Proving Ground, by Michael Connelly - the next installment in the Mickey Haller series. It was the Bosch books which really made me a fan of Michael Connelly’s writing, but I have to say that I really enjoy the writing and storytelling of courtroom drama.
🏅 Power Zone Training on the Peloton continues. I still appreciate both the structure of the programmes as well as the outcomes. The pzpack.com community, and their regular programmes, are great - sign-up, show up and do whatever class you’re told. Entirely stress-free!
💻 I am now two months in to a new role as CPTO at Exclaimer. I enjoyed my time at Native Instruments, and I was sad to leave - but the challenges at Exclaimer are many and varied, and the team is fantastic!
